Hostit Cozy Apartment

Good location, small cozy apartment, fair value Positive: The location is great. The apartment is a complex within walking distance to the centre of town and to the angry birds park. It was warm and quiet. The beds were comfortable. It was easy using the code to get in and out. It has a washer but no tumble dryer. It had a clothes airer. The bathroom was functional. Negative: Really expensive for what it was. I suppose this was Rovaniemi during the peak season but we have stayed at 5 star hotels for less. The apartment was small and didn't have much space to open our bags (we were 2 A 2C)

Great location. The apartment looked about older than the photos shown. Positive: Door code was provided Negative: The address provided by the host was for the back entrance through the car park which made it difficult to find.

Disaster, avoid at all costs! Positive: Good location, clean accommodation Negative: The first night I couldn’t get the radiators to work they were all turned off, we were freezing. The second night we were locked out for two hours, hungry cold and tried all we wanted was to sleep, with young kids it was very frustrating: the battery for the lock of the door was dead, they couldn’t fix it, had to break open the letter box and open the door from the inside using a wire! It was ridiculous to say the least, when we eventually got in I turned on the sauna for us to heat up, it was a joke. The window in the sauna doesn’t close it stays open so as soon as u put water on the sauna stones the heat goes out the window! I would definitely not stay here again nor would I recommend it, it was a big dampener on our last night to be locked out. They did allow us 2 hours extra in the morning time before check out but that was my suggestion not theirs.
