The worst experience of our lives, apartment so unhygienic it felt genuinely disgusting to stay Positive: Nothing Negative: The apartment appeared to have not been cleaned or sanitised for a very long time. We discovered old food waste, bottles, and trash hidden under the sofa, and later additional dirt and debris in the bedroom. This was not a minor cleanliness issue but a sign of serious neglect. When waste is hidden under furniture, the entire apartment feels unhygienic and unsafe. Most concerning, the property had been informed in advance that a pregnant woman was part of our group, creating a clear duty of care, which was entirely ignored. A cleaner was sent only after we complained, yet the property refused any refund, denied fault, and abruptly closed the case. The lack of accountability was alarming. The handling of the situation was equally unacceptable. From the beginning, the property was completely unhelpful, gave inconsistent and contradictory answers, and avoided responsibility. We were blamed for reporting the issue instead of it being properly addressed

Positive: Great location in the city center. Very good apartment.

A comfortable stay but lacked finishing touches. Positive: The location was great, we had just enough space (although the bathroom was a bit small) and the bed was really comfortable Negative: Some of the cleanliness had been overlooked, the vents needed a good vacuum and clean to remove dust and at one point we needed to move the rug in the bedroom and it had clearly not been picked up for a while. The balcony was also completely untouched, to the point we saved a valet footstool from the snow and found a dustpan and brush out there, the 5th pop up bed had also been placed out there but when we tried to move it pigeons were nesting underneath so we didn’t want to move it - the whole space was unusable. We also felt as though some of the finishing touches were missing, literally - there was no headboard in the bedroom (as shown in the pictures online), hooks on the walls were missing pictures, and we had to ask for more mugs and bowls for the kitchen. We also found communication with the hosts to be very slow - although they were polite and eventually got back to to us
